At 12 weeks

The 12 week ultrasound was fascinating. We were impressed by the detailed profile of someone who was, at that point, no bigger than a lime. I couldn't feel anything moving in my belly yet, but the little figure on the screen was in constant motion. The tech suspected the baby was a boy, but wasn't willing to put money on it at this point.
