The big six M

Dear Alejandro,

Today you turned six months old. It's hard for me to believe how much you've changed your daddy's and my life since you arrived. I was going to write a much more heartfelt statement, but my brain is mush because you don't sleep. Nevertheless, we love you so very much.

But when you're 16, I am going to come in your room and wake you up every 45 minutes. Just sayin.

Autumn 2008

Time is flying by and Alejandro is growing so much. He's just about sitting by himself. It's been a busy time of year... here's a little of what Alex has been up to! Alejandro has had his first paying job! He modeled for a local photographer shooting a Moroccan clothing line. He got paid $50... not a bad start to the college fund! I'll post the photo as soon as I receive it.

He's actively reaching out and grabbing for things now.

Sampling his first bites of "solid" food...

Mom and Dad went all out for Halloween, dressing as the Zorro Family. Unfortunately, these will be the only photos of Baby Zorro... shortly after this photo was taken, Alejandro "downloaded" the remains of his first solid food and totaled his costume.

On November 4th, 2008, Alejandro accompanied his mom and dad to their polling place across the street from their house. By the end of evening, his mommy held him and told him with confidence, "When you grow up, you can be anything you want to. Even President."
